Hey guys!
I am a porn addict for last 8 years. For last 8 years I have been watching porn and masturbating daily.
I started when I was just 14 years old and now I cant seem to stop it. I have been to many therapy sessions and started taking meds prescribed by doctors but nothing worked on me.
My parents and my friends all know about my addiction and they have been so positive about it, they are the best. But I am disappointing them every single day, every time I masturbate.
I am starting my noFap journey today with one thought 'this is not a problem but a challenge, given by god to test me. If I can overcome this, I can overcome any challenge in my life. No one will be able to stop me from achieving my big dreams'.
I have my friends and family support but I would also need your help your support. Its going to be a long journey, the most difficult one, and I am happy that I am not alone in this journey. I will update daily.

I'm planning on possibly getting medication for depression that hopefully will help.
My faith is more important to me but the desires of the flesh have been too strong I've always relapsed.
I'd even be willing to take medication to switch off all desire because sometimes I feel like I'd just get pulled into that lifestyle - it's terrible.
I felt so ashamed for so long, so I just kept quiet & stayed addicted for years.
I really wish my body wasn't so strongly attracted to men & I saw them like I see women, appreciate their beauty with very very little sexual arousal. Miniscule at best.
My inner man has chosen Jesus but it's still a battle to get my flesh to comply.
