Good morning everyone,
Im not normally on these type of websites, but I need some help and guidance and need to vent about this. This morning I failed and did it, but tomorrow and moving foward I never want to do it again. I'm in the military and want to be a great leader and motivate others. I can't do that if I can't even lead myself first. From this day foward I will not do it again and will let everyone know that it is possible. Bad so far, but it will be better. Have a great day
I get it, I've been taking a long look at my life, where I'm at, and where I'm heading. I've had a porn compulsion for many, many years, and I've never really examined my behaviours before.
I've recently been very troubled because of my lack of intimacy with my wife of 16 years, and I've been able to definitively say that porn is having a direct impact on that. There are other extenuating circumstances as well, but porn is a major contributing factor.
All I can tell you is that keep that long term goal in the back of your mind, but everyday tell yourself that you'll make it through TODAY. Make that your short term goal everyday. Take those small steps, small goals more frequently, but never lose sight of the long term goal either!
