That seems to be the name of the game that I play. I've been looking at pornography for so long now that I've changed into a completely different person. I've lost the things that were important to me, and now its too late to do anything about it... I just want to stop looking at it... I don't understand why I'm so weak... and then I feel like a piece of shit afterwards, because I am. I make excuses for myself, and I blame and hurt others, and I lie... I'm a terrible person. I just need somewhere where I know there people like me getting better... I just want to be better.

First off its never too late to change. As long as your heart beats and you have breath in your lungs YOU CAN CHANGE. The really good news is that recovery from porn addiction does, can and will happen. Porn makes one weak, I agree. That does NOT make you a bad person. The longer you stay away from porn the better you will feel. That I promise you. I will tell you it will take effort. Staying away from porn isn't all that needs to done. You will have to remold your whole life. Start being honest IN EVERYTHING!! Acknowledge YOUR role in the things you do others and yourself. One thing I've learned in recovery that there is hope. THERE IS ALWAYS HOPE!! Recovery will not easy, but I assure you it will be worth every effort. It takes time, tears and toil, and much of each. I suggest you get to a 12 step recovery group of some kind. Find someone with a lot of sobriety that has worked the steps and then you work the steps with the guidance of that person. Be accountable for your life, stop blaming, rationalizing and justifying. Those will only keep you sick and afflicted. Also find a higher power. If you believe in God seek His help. I wish you the very best.

I take your words to heart, i know I can be better, and with effort and determination and support, it will happen. I'm slowly changing my life, shifting away from my dark habits and living out in the open, one day I will be better, I need to stay optimistic and look towards what the future CAN be, not what the present is...

We have to separate the person from the behavior... Love the sinner while hating the sin. Doing something terrible does not mean the person is intrinsically terrible. A good person did a bad thing.
It is hard to change, a challenge and a struggle,, but we can change our thinking and behavior.
I use the 12 Steps to help me know how to change my thinking and behavior, and my Higher Power is God, as I currently understand God.
