Hi. I am new here. Been struggling a lot with pornography/lust, and decided I need extra help. Just joining this group already helps me feel that I am headed in the right direction. Looking forward to being encouraged and being an encouragement to others here.

Welcome. I to have the same problems. I don't really think about any of it when I am busy or out with my family, however if I am home alone (like I am now) or just with nothing to do its always on my mind. So for me its about finding something to keep my mind going so it doesn't wander down that dark alley.

Thank you both. SadinPhoenix, I find early morning or late at night (both times when family is not awake) to be most difficult. I know it's tough.

Yes those were common times for my secretive online activities. Spent many nights in online chat rooms and looking at pics & videos while my wife was sound asleep. Even to the point I would stay up nearly to the point of when i needed to get up and go to work.

Welcome to the group. It has been about a year since I would say I really broke away from the cycle of pornography addiction. I hope we can offer you some help and support here as needed. I do recommend looking at the website yourbrainonporn.com -- and particularly at the 90-day reboot process it outlines -- to get an idea of how the addiction works and how to overcome it.

The good news is that it can be done! I felt trapped by pornography for many, many years, so learning how to free myself of it was a wonderful gift.
