Hi, I just joined and made my first post a few minutes ago. I feel like I'm in a similar place. I'm 35 and have been watching porn for like 20 years or so, on the internet. My wife found how much time I actually spend watching porn and confronted me about it. I didn't get angry, I just broke down and it all hit me at once like I knew I had a problem. I'm just a day in, so I don't know much, just hoping that talking about it will help with recovery.

Hi thanks for the welcome. I had a dream last night i was watching porn! It was very vivid i woke up with a hard on and panicking thinking i had really been watching it. I think my brain must be craving it.

yes the dreams are your withdrawal and you should start reading things like the bible and recovery books you need to purge the poison of porn out of your mind, body, and spirit.
if you aren't, start praying every morning and every night, you your higher power, a power greater than yourself.

Join a support group like SA before it is too late. Hopefully your wife will support you through this.
