Sex / Pornography Addiction Support Group
Sexual addiction, also sometimes called sexual compulsion, is a form of psychological addiction to sexual intercourse and other sexual behavior.

It's not an easy subject for me to talk about, mostly because I'm very private on the one hand but I know this is anonymous so I want to be straightforward about it. I think it's time for me to face what I'm doing and find some answers.
We don't have sex anymore but it's no longer because I don't have a sex drive, it's stronger than ever. I gave up cyber because I really felt it was cheating nearly as much as the real thing, and phone too, for awhile, but I get tempted and it's back again in my life, and the emails start again, and it's a vicious circle. I feel trapped and I thought if I wrote it down where others read it maybe I would have more self control about my actions.
I'm confused about this board though, is it mostly for people like me who feel addicted or is it for those who are worried about their partners mostly. I feel like the pink elephant in the room.

thank you for listening

This board is for both trying to understand your addictions as well as how it may affect others in your life. Feel free to speak your piece and let someone try to help you.

goodgurl, just want to say welcome, and that you are at the right place... I know how it feels to be new! Like you, I got so tired of hiding the addiction, which is part of this disease... so I made my username what I did, so that every time I see it I am admitting the problem instead of sweeping it under the rug... just something that helped me. Anyway, see ya.
