My husband spend way too much time on the internet looking at porn.That's all he ever does on his days off anymore and even when he gets home from work.When I tried to talk to him about it he just says that is what guys like and blew me off.We have 2 girls living in the house and he looks at that stuff in front of them.They know what he is doing.I am very concerned that he is addicted and my question is am I right to be concerned and what should I do?

Exposing children to porn is considered a form of abuse.
It is the way that many up here have gotten launched on a lifetime struggle with porn and sex addiction.
You need to give him an ultimatum and escalate this discussion to where he understand that he is putting his parenting in jeopardy.
And, you need to organize the house so that they never see him doing anything of the sort.
Yuck!

Joy, talk with my wife (diannebishop) here at DS. She lived with my addiction for over 20 years, and may be able to give you some solid advice.

My partner does the same thing, but luckily not in front of the kids. You have to seriosly put your foot down about it being in front of kids, that is just wrong. Give him ultimatum.

I didn't mind my husband looking at playboy or other men's magazines but now it's getting out of control.You're right I have to give him an ultimatum.

Absolutely you should be concerned. If it is that much and in front of the kids, YES! That can't be allowed in front of them or around them. Keep trying to talk to him when he is not glued to the computer. Tell him you are really worried and tell him how it makes you feel when he looks at it. He needs to consider your feelings.

I know for me i was looking to fill a gapping hole inside of me..Porn was like crack..i just needed to get out of myself..Then it started to consume my life and i was willing to give everything up for it...

The good thing is that I don't feel like it's my fault that he's doing this.My husband doesn't think he has a problem but it's a problem if he can't stop looking at that stuff.
