I know I have a problem.

Some days I waste hours - like 4 or 5 hours - watching porn and wanking.

Dang I even find that it takes forever to finish now.

I have done the "this is enough" and vow to never go back, so many times.

Then in a day or two I am back.


This is as bad as alcohol addiction.


Fuck this sucks.

Yes it sucks. But you can overcome this. I tell people all that time that it will not be easy, but it will be worth it. Breaking that cycle of giving in and saying that's the last time will be the hardest. It took me some time to get over the urge give in. You can live a life free from this. I have overcome it. I offer you hope and faith that when you are ready and had enough, you will begin to find other things to do then view porn and masturbate. Go for a walk, read a book, keep a journal, fly a kite, bake a cake. Trust me it gets easier the longer for forgo giving in. I wish you the very best. Recovery is a beautiful thing!

The definition of an addiction is something that impedes on everyday life, for example...you can't make it to work because you are watching porn or you are too tired to make it to work because you watched porn all night...or you can't pay your mortgage and are losing your house because you spend all your money on prostitutes or porn sites.
I personally don't think you are addicted, I think you have a compulsion and overwhelming desires.
