Hello, 

My name is Jennifer. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 8 years. He is a registered sex.offender. I knew before we got married that he was a registered sex offender. We got married November 2012 and I found out I was pregnant with our first born Aug 2012 after his mother passed away. I have known my husband since we were in middle school. I met him at church. 

My husband was 19 when he got arrested for dating a 14 year old. I call that his stupid years. The girls parents were fine with their relationship but one of his so called best friends jokingly called and reported him and within 24 hours they showed up at his doorstep and arrested him. 

We live in Southwest Georgia.  We had  to go to court so he could be around his kid. The judge looked at me and said you know  that he is a sex offender and are you sure you want your child around him? I was 7 months pregnant and already married him and it took all I could do not to be a smartass toward the judge but for my husband's sake and my child's I just said yes.

The past 8 years we have cried and fought to get to where we are. My husband  finally have a great job (even though he was to drive an hour to it). We have 3 beautiful kids and we are doing okay. The hard times are family get togethers and holidays because he cant be around cousins and nieces and nephews under the age of 18. His fine is paid off and hes free to leave the state.
