Long story short my husband cheated on me before we got married with a girl who claimed she was 19 but was actually 15. Fast forward to 8 months later we are married and he got charged and arrested and I got landed this bomb of information. The detective even stated all the evidence supports he thought she was 19 but that doesn't change the fact he is charged and will serve tim .
I've been reading online about possible sentencing and rules and how our lives with be and some seem doable and others are super harsh life long hurdles.
My husband said some people in jail stated he won't be able to have sex for a year when hes on probation...but we are married how is that fair. And when we have kids will he never be able to go see them play sports or sing choir?
He made a huge mistake, but hes not some online predator who seeks out young girls. He had relations with someone who told him she was of legal age and now our lives are forever screwed. Can anyone help me know what to expect?
You would have to talk to his attorney that when he gets released that if his living conditions will include him living with future biological children. And/Or find out how you can be his Supervisor Chaperone. I am in that process right now so my husband can live with me and our 3 under 3. We got married 1yr after his conviction (he was 20 and she was 15). Its very tough. We just want to be a family but Judge wont approve yet because his PO stated my husband needed to complete some classes and other stuff. But they are just stalling in my eyes.
