Been in love with a guy for ten years, two years ago he got in touch to tell me he had left his wife and we agreed to make a go of things together. Months later I found out the reason he and his wife split is because he was found with CP on his computer, a lot of it, he and his wife have two young daughters together. I decided to stick it out, he made a mistake, he was going to be convicted and serve his time and really wanted to get better. A year later I've found out he has still been looking at such materials as well as continuously cheating on me on Craigslist and swinger sites, since day one. Again I chose to stand by him and now as his court day looms closer I am terrified. I don't know what to expect or if people like my family and friends will find out. He has voluntarily taken up counselling to change his habits and assures me he wants to change. He is angry all the time and our relationship is proving to be very strained and argumentative. He shows no affection or love and any sort of romance is definitely off the cards from him. I bring these up and he gets angry and says it's just the way he is, but he was never like that before I found out.
Am I a fool for sticking by him? I have nowhere to turn and no one to talk to. (I'm in the UK, hope that's OK)
Its a deep addiction that he's going through. I know from experience because im convicted for having sex with a minor and im 43 yrs old. Its hard to go into details in an open forum. So reach out to me for how that type of mind works. 504 224-1401
