I met my husband of 12 years in 2008 he made sure I was aware of his past conviction before we approached anything serious and I was fine it was well in the past in 1997. (Possession of cp) We have two sons and while he was hesitant about becoming one he has been a great father to them and a wonderful husband to me.
literally 2 days ago we were about to get our oldest up for school and the authorities came banging on the door. After all the evidence is compiled I'm left with the aftermath and now being a single mom (2nd offense federal level not just possession but distribution this time)
It's possibly an unpopular opinion but after confirming it didn't involve the kids, I still stand by him. But now I know it is HIGHLY unlikely that he will be allowed back in our lives and am not sure about anything
I support you in your decision. He is a human being, and you love him very much, and that is no one"s business but yours. People forget that wedding vows say "for better or worse". You are honoring your marriage vows. Bless you.
So many people think it’s better if I end the marriage but it would be detrimental to all involved as far as I can tell
