Wednesday, my husband, who I have been with for 10 years, was arrested for sexual assault of a child. I bonded him out then he was arrested for continuous sexual assault of a child. The girl is 14. I need the proof in front of me. We have 3 kids. Two are before him (2y and 6m when we met) and a 2.5 year old daughter. I don’t know what to do. I still love him. I’m scared. My family is upset because I’m not kicking and screaming. What good does that do for my kids? I just need time to process everything. I’m unable to bond him out in the second offense so he’s sitting in jail. I miss him every night but yet I hate him.

This was me 8 months ago and people said it gets easier and I didn’t believe them. It does get easier though. Not the missing him oartnor reliving every waking happy moment you had and long for again, but day to day gets easier. I focus everything on my daughter. Without her I wouldn’t be able to get out of bed in the morning, even after 8 months. Stay strong for those babies mama and cry whenever you need to. Sending prayers and positive thoughts your way.

I can totally relate! My prayers are with you and your babies. I know it's not easy, but I made the decision to separate. It's been a year and I still waiver back and forth, wanting to believe that he's telling the truth. Place or God's hands and it will all be revealed.

How can you move on with this? How am I going to deal with him being gone? I miss him so much. People are posting terrible things about him.

I’m really sorry. My husband was convicted of a similar crime 3 years ago. I completely understand how you feel. That was me 4 years ago. My husbands case was in the media and people were very cruel. I never thought I would survive or be happy again. It does get a bit better and life goes on. It took me a long time (literally years) to process everything. My only advice is to break time into small managble pieces. You need to take one day at a time. People outside of this situation won’t understand. I only share with people I really trust. Otherwise be kind to yourself. This situation is soul destroying.

I feel so alone. It hurts to hear people talk bad about him. I have received so many messages with screenshots of his arrest. Like I didn’t know. All I want to do is cry and sleep. I don’t know how to go on. Things were doing well then we received some positive News then it was taken back. My heart hurts so bad. Our 3 year old cries for her daddy every night. Our boys as to go see him but I don’t want them to have to see him in jail. I’m so scared. I’m so alone. No one understands. I have only 2-3 friends now and only one seems to truly understand.

I hate that just because he’s been accused that everyone thinks he’s evil and bad. They don’t even know if he did anything. It’s not in innocence until proven guilty. It’s guilty till proven innocent and sometimes you can’t prove innocents

I am so sorry! My husband was arrested 18 months ago for statutory rape of a 16 year old. The truth was he had an affair with her when she was 17 but when it ended she lied and said it was at 16 and filed a report against him. When I was going to get dropped in Grand jury she threatened our son, they dropped 59 charges and said if he pled guilty to a single charge they wouldn't go after our son who is in medical school The media was horrible, the comments even worse. Try not to listen to any of it (impossible I know), try to take it one day at a time, scream, cry......I still do. My husband and I are closer than we ever have been. I am confident he will never do this again, he is horrified with himself and has done everything possible to make it up to me and our children. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
