I am feeling trapped, because my husband made a stupid decision before we were together to be with an underage girl who'd tried hooking up with many more older guys before him. He is now being punished, as am I.
I am feeling trapped, because we're stuck living with his parents for the time being and I desperately want a CLEAN and private home of my own-even a small studio apartment- where I can cook and be alone in the peaceful quiet, and have privacy of any kind. Instead, we're with these people who smoke cigarettes inside and never clean a damn thing.
I am feeling trapped, because as positive as I am as a person, and how hard I am willing to work to make things happen, no one will give us a chance.
I feel like things will never get better. I feel like there is a never ending list of things I need to do and achieve, and no way for me to do them anymore.
Has anyone else been through this? How do you remain positive when all hope seems lost? How do you pick up the pieces and move forward? What is waiting on the other side of this?
Hmmm can you talk to them about the smoking inside thing?
Maybe look at getting a place a bit out of town it might make the registry stuff a bit easier it just means a bit more driving.
I'm in a similar situation, although we do have a very small, dark basement apartment. My suggestion would be just keep looking, Look on Craigslist but skip the large apartment complexes, Look at the ones that have private owners they are more likely to rent to you, It will take time but eventually you will find something.
