As for the headaches, you must determine the source to know what to do to stop them. Headaches are most frequently caused by a lack of water (dehydration). They can also come from a spinal misalignment (see a chiropractor). You may be having an allergic reaction to food. It may also be a migraine if it's "splitting," which is linked to toxicity and hormone imbalance. Caffeine helps with migraines by constricting the veins in the head that are contributing to the pain.
To calm yourself down (which will help with the headaches and eating issues), there are lots of options. Consider getting "Nerve Tonic" from Hylands - it's a homeopathic that calms you down fast. Also a product called "Rescue Remedy" is helpful. If your issue is anxiety related, consider getting some Gaba. It's an amino acid that acts like a tranquilizer.
For sleep, I bet getting rid of the headaches, eating good food, and calming your nerves will all help. You can also try melatonin, valerian root, and/or chamomile tea about 30 minutes before you want to sleep. Those are all natural elements that will help you rest.
I hope you feel better! And, I do believe in the power of prayer, so I'll send some messages heavenward for you today. (((hugs)))
Thank you Teresa, I really appreciate all of the great advice, and prayers.
I think my headaches are caused by the trauma I am trying to heal from which causes me to have ptsd a lot.
My body feels like it is in a permanent state of stress and is doing its own thing! :-(
I will have to look into buying some Gaba and the Nerve Tonic. I am trying to go the natural route, and tell myself when I heal my symptoms will ease, but worry that I could be stuck with them.
