What has helped with SPMS, as in diet, exercise, meds to control this miserable disease. Is there any one thing you do that makes the difference in making this tolerabe? one thing that if you change you will notice the difference
Keeping a positive attitude in the face of adversity. I think it was Socrates that said "so you think so shall you become." I try to stay on the positive side but can't always do it... but I try!

There doesn't seem to be a lot else to do. I'm just trying to enjoy the ride.
Family, and I find if I don't trap myself in the house and get out and do something, I feel better. I take Gabapentin (Neurontin) for the spacicity (sp?) and try to deal.
Like Oakenwood said trying to stay positive helps but is hard when I can't walk across the floor with out tripping or falling.
My husband makes a smoothie every morning. In it are: Blueberries, strawberries, walnuts, almond butter, whey protein powder, and a little milk. I know this has helped, because for about 3 days my husband was sick, and couldn't make the drink. After three days I was in a major flare-up. I could barely talk for slurring, I was so weak I couldn't make it to the bathroom! I went back to drinking the smoothie, and now I hardly have any symptoms. I also have more energy.
Flaxseed oil. I take 2 supplement pills at night and now i think 2 in the morning. I am in the middle of cing if i should up the dosage or not.
Y I take it is because(especially now) it maintains my hydration w/o having to drink so much water. Wen I do not take it my lips, tongue, nasal passages and my ears Dry out. I will get a migraine, my ear lobes will start peeling it sounds so much worse to write it all down.
