hello, I have undifferentiated connective tissue dz and some other autoimmune issues.. but i had a question about scleroderma.. i have noticed my skin becoming thicker in various places- arms, chest, back, face (when i open my mouth the corners of my mouth crack and my eyes pull downward- I am in my mid 30's so my skin should start getting looser, but i feel its getting tighter).. and my eyebrows - strange - but plucking my eyebrows is difficult as the hairs all ingrow under the thick skin.. same with my legs and shaving
anyhow, I give myself shots for all this autoimmune stuff, and i am finding my skin is difficult to puncture with the needle.. I recently had an exacerbation, and my skin on my thighs is so thick, i have to push the needle through so hard, and once it's through that top layer it seems to go through easier.. anyhow just curious if anyone has heard of something like this?

I use an electric razor to shave. I found that my blood does not like to clot as well as it used to and the electric razor avoids cuts.
