This weekend I am going to see Stevi Nicks and Rod Stewart at The Hollywood Bowl. I have never seen Stevi, but, have seen Rod Stewart....back in the days of the tiger skin pants, no less.
I'll let you know how it was!

In the mean time, I am digging in my closet to find my Stevi Nicks boots and scarves! Ha!

Not really......well, just the scarves.....

Okay....I guess I won't share what a fabulous concert it was. Nobody cares. Haaaa!

Stevie Nicks still has the voice of a twenty year old and Rod Stewart's show is so fresh and energized it was great. Beautiful venue and great music.

BUT, I also got to meet James Durbin...the rocker dude from American Idol.Great night!

I saw Fleetwood Mac with The Eagles and Boz Scaggs way back in 1976 or 7. Never did get to see Rod Stewart.

Hi Sheltoesmom, that's great. I am glad you had a good night and you got to meet James. Love the Durbs. I love concerts. I need a concert fix myself. LOL last one was in September. I'm ready for another one.

I know what you mean, Naturegirl. I listen to music at home and in my car all the time. But, from time to time....I need a concert fix. Just to be surrounded by people that enjoy the same music and venue of the concert fills me up for awhile.
My best friend, in Texas, is going to see Bob Seger tomorrow night...I loooove him. Wish I could go, but, I am on the West Coast. Oh well, next time, maybe!

They make a good pair; I heard the sing a few songs together.
Rolling Stone magazine wrote a good article about the 2 in the last month.
We could do a whole 'nother post on our favorite Nicks songs and Stewart's songs.

I think my favorite Stevie Nicks song is "I Can't Wait" from the latter 80s. I love concerts to. The last one I was at was Eric Clapton/Steve Winwood
