So, this is cool: I've been hired to conduct an intensive workshop on sexual assault next week. I'll have a full day-long training for therapists and campus counselors on the first day. the next day, I have two hours with ministers from various faiths, and another 2 hours with a combination of police, judges, District Attorneys, social workers, and prosecutors. Plus, I get to facilitate a support group that evening ("support groups" are not therapy groups, so I can stretch my non-clincial wings a bit), and then they're having a banquet for me! I am so excited I can't stand it. I get to contaminate dozens of therapists with my own brand of philosophical shenanigans about trauma work!
The liaisons for the event couldn't be nicer and more enthusiastic, and one of them told me that when they announced it they were flooded with registrations, including people traveling from hours away to attend.

I didn't know that you don't practice clinically anymore. I really hope you'll reconsider that. It seems like you were an awesome therapist.
