HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS EMOTIONAL ROLLER-COASTER WE CALL LOVE.
Ok, so I have a boyfriend that I love and cherish. He is the one. And I mean it like he is the type of man that would cut off his arms and legs for me to be happy. He wants to get married and I want to get married to him too, just not until we are older and have our degrees. We both work together and enjoy it. It is a job anyone could get but we are just starting college, and it pays well above minimum wage.
Anyways, there is this guy at work. Let's just call him Bo. Bo is the type of guy everyone likes to be around. He is really chill, funny, and responsible but can have fun at the same time. He already graduated from college but works there to earn more money while he searches for the perfect job. So he is about six years older than me. Bo has a girlfriend that also works with him, my boyfriend, and I. They are engaged and expecting. We are a bunch of college kids all working together and started to get along really well, really fast. I got particularly close to Bo. He and I had that friendship where we just constantly mess with each other and get on each other's nerves purposely. We started to get closer and he considers me a "friend." But lately this past few months, he has been confusing me.
He started to compliment me, which was unusual given his personality and our friendship. At first, I thought he was just teasing me because I am young, or giving me a hard time. But he would say things like I had gorgeous eyes and that I looked beautiful all the time. He was being flirty, I then assumed he was like that to everyone. But things started to progress quickly. We work in a warehouse, so I am constantly lifting heavy things and walking all over the place. One time I was walking back inside carrying equipment from the delivery truck and he was walking out: The entrance was narrow and he grabbed my hips and slid past me gently but lingered a little until I was like "Um" and he let go. He said excuse me and kept going. He has grabbed my hands, touched my waist, hugged me, grabbed my shoulders, touched my face, and all in ways that aren't exactly friendly multiple times. He has even come up behind me to help me lift something and "accidentally" bumped into my you know what multiple times. Given all the physical stuff combined with the talks we have had I am a little concerned and confused. Sometimes I swear he talks about me to one of his other friends and they just stare me down.
I won't lie and say I wish he would leave me alone. I like him in a friendly way and I cherish our friendship because I know a lot about him and genuinely care about him. I am just worried that this playful flirting will go on and me not saying anything will be like a signal for him to do more or go farther I guess. I am scared to say anything though because I don't want work beef between my coworkers and I don't want him to treat me like I am an idiot and try to play it off as if I am crazy if I tell him I am aware of what he is doing. It also excited me a bit that I was getting attention from an older guy and I feel so guilty about it.
Should I tell my boyfriend? Does Bo like me or is he just messing with me? I don't know what to do.
