Help, I have put up with my husband's mood swings, needs, and his wants for 20 years. I have been the sole breadwinner 14/20 yrs while he stayed home with the kids, or went back to school. All that time, I did all the housework, cleaning, scheduling the kids activities, and succeeding at my job. He told me today that he thinks that I am goalless and should have more interesting activities. I mentioned that I would like to take a ceramics class and that wasn't good enough. I am at my wits end.

I hear ya and been there. Hun, only one thing to do. walk out that door and take that damn class if only because you want to. Be ready for cut downs and when it happens, tell him you will only hear supportive words from him and you are just learning. You have spent a lifetime allowing yourself to be cut down and it isn't going to change overnight. But it can change and start today. First you have to be aware of it, then you have to be active.

What a wonderful job you have done in life to be the sole breadwinner of this family for all these years. You are awesome and deserve whatever you want. Congradulations and go treat yourself with something that interests you because YOU want it.
