When I found out, one of the first things I did was immediately go for a check up. Fortunately, all tests were negative. To be honest, I don't know how I would have felt if there would have been something wrong, but I think that since we already decided to try to work things out and rebuild our relationship, that I probably would have accepted it as just another hurdle to climb over. I guess what I'm saying is that since I knew about the A and I obviously knew about him F'ing some other woman - to me those are the worst things already. Sure, I'd have been furious if I had been infected but honestly I don't think it could have/would have hurt me as much as what I already knew.

I never worried about catching something. I know the OW, and she isn't a slut. She was in a sexless marriage the last 4-5 years before she divorced. She isn't the type to jump in the sack with anyone. Hell, their emotional affair went on for 2 years before it became physical.

I supposed it crossed my mind, but I never seriously worried about it, even though I knew they didn't use condoms because my H had a vesectomy years ago.

I'm not defending her actions in the least, just stating that I know her and she's not the type of sleep with just anyone.

yes, it has entered my mind as well. recently, i had to do some blood work and my liver count came back high, so the dr. wanted to give me a hep test. about 6 mths ago, right after finding out about the a, i had blook work done that was normal.

when i witnessed my h's fear about my blood work coming back funky and being tested for hep. i started to wonder - could he have gotten hep from her and given it to me.

lucky for us the hep was neg. so that ended that. but i still wonder, especially after seeing all the worry in his eyes.

H tells me that there was nothing sexual and even encouraged me to go get checked out.I think the fear for me is , he's lying again and potentially could father a child( although we went thru testing 9 years ago for invitro, becuase I had my tubes tied after my first marriage and 3rd child and his sperm count was too low they had to inject the sperm into the egg just to get it fertilized)
I do agree with you all it would continue to be the same hurt that I'm feeling now. I am just so mad that he can not just admit that there was a affair.I really don't know anything much excepth her name and she works in the same place and they have had coffeee before work and they would talk and text each other.

I was told that they used condoms all the time. Do I believe him? Kinda. I have had test done and nothing so I am happy about that. But I do know that if I had found out I had something, I think I might have tried to kill him. Thats just me being honest. I have been through all this before with my first H and he did pass a long his little sluts gift. I couldn't deal with that again. That would be my breaking point.
