I have heard (seen actually) some of the BS's on here talk about their struggles with sex after DDAY and I want to share something with you that may help or at least give you a different perspective.

On DDAY I made promises to my H. He made some to me too. When we had sex that night he made it clear that the meaning of the sex was to seal those promises and to cement my re commitment to him and to our marriage.

Every time we have had sex since then, over a year later, that meaning is still and will forever be attached. Sex is everything to us it ever was before but with a whole new dimension. It is bonding, it is commitment, it is promises. It strengthens these things within me every time. It also makes sex with my H an entirely different thing than what was happening during the A.

I know that is what it was supposed to mean from the day we were married. Wedding vows. But since DDAY it is not just a nice concept that you don't really think about that much. Connecting your vows to the act of sex. It is concrete and real and conscious.

I told this to someone on here in the past and it really helped her to be able to enjoy sex with her CS again. I hope it can help someone else.
