Rebuilding Marriage After Infidelity Community Group
A community for those who have been through the heartbreak of infidelity and decided to stay with their partner and try to re-build the relationship.
My husband left today for another year long deployment overseas. Scared of what can happen cause his EA started in his last deployment in 2009 and carried over to 2010 when he came back (the whole time he was back home). Finally he cuts of communication and decides to wrok in our marriage but he has to leave again. I think we were starting to get close again, he was becoming more affectionate and saying I love you more often. He told me this morning before he left that things were going to be okay but I have my doubts cause it happened last time he was gone so how do I know it won't happen again. At the same time my heart is full of hope cause I saw him changing towards me and our marriage. I hope for the best cause I don't want to fly high and then crash and burn once more.

A big hug for you today! I too pray for his safe return and for you to have peace of mind while he is gone. Remember....you can't control what he does. He has to make his own choices. I think that if he was working so hard before he left, he will miss you even more now. What do they say....absence makes the heart grow fonder. We can keep you company while he is away! Stay strong and keep the faith.
