Rebuilding Marriage After Infidelity Community Group
A community for those who have been through the heartbreak of infidelity and decided to stay with their partner and try to re-build the relationship.
I have lost 40 lbs! I am so excited! I rewarded myself by going to the tanning bed yesterday I know, I know.. not a great thing, but I have snow white skin and want to be able to go out and enjoy the outside in shorts this summer without being blinding. What a great self esteem booster.
H did come over yesterday, we had breakfast-- but then he had to go because his Homewrecker got off work from being sick, and then FLIPPED out on him for not being right there to pick her up, so she had to ride the bus (i'm laughing really). He is so much on a leash it is not even funny, and I just chuckle to myself thinking- we never had a relationship like that, and this is really what you are considering leaving your marriage over? Makes me think fine, because I know he will be miserable, and one day, maybe not this year, he will open his eyes, be out of the fog, and realize that this affair was his biggest mistake.
He says he owes it to her because she saved his life (saved him from committing suicide). If he could only see that she is manipulative, a serial dater (umm hello, 60 guys in 18 months she dated, but OH she hasn't slept with any of them?), an attention seeker, and controlling-- he is in for years of being her b*tch and its sad, but he will realize it one day. I guess today I feel like "whatever"-- like do you thing, and I'll do my thing. I can't force you to love me, but if you sure don't want me- someone else will.
We will see how long this feeling lasts, but umm have to admit, feels way better than crying in the shower.

Great for you for feeling good about yourself! Keep it up... it sounds like you are getting close to the "indifference" stage. Sad for him, cause once you get there... no going back.
