Rebuilding Marriage After Infidelity Community Group
A community for those who have been through the heartbreak of infidelity and decided to stay with their partner and try to re-build the relationship.
Many of us look at our old holiday pictures and know that during a specific time line our SO was having an affair. They “had” to rush off to work for an hour or maybe run to store.
I have learned to cope, however thoughts do creep in. I am thankful that my H gives me reassuring attention during this time of year. If he goes on a call I am invited to go also. Sometimes I do, if nobody is at home.
It is good when our spouses can offer reassurance and comfort. When Huz can’t or doesn’t, I find it hard not to spiral into “this is just like back then...” which isn’t true. Still. That little broken shard inside me will go there. Being present helps a ton, but this was a year where I occasionally wished I could file down that sharp shard in my mind just a little.
