Having a bad day

I'm having a tough couple of days. Nothing that H has done, just basic pity party time. My kids were here for a few days over Thanksgiving, saying goodbye is always really hard.

I'm really struggling with my feelings for my H right now. I know it's complicated by the kids leaving and peri-menopause is tossing me every which way but loose. I've got tons of anger, some at my H, some at myself, some at other family members who screwed up the week. (extended family)

Just venting a bit here. I will press on and hope everyone is doing well in their rebuilding.

Keep your chin up.....you deserve a pity party. But remember to be strong. Holidays are hard for so many reasons. Maybe you need to try to plan something fun with your H and have something to look forward to. Just a suggestion.

Big box of wine + x2 old friends (or substitute favorite old movie) converts Pity-Party into hang-over. Hang-overs are bad, but you feel so good when they're over.

It must be something in the water right now! I am having a hard time as well. My H really hasn't done anything to cause my upset feelings either recently. I just HAVE them... don't know why I can't shake them. I have had a REALLY hard time sleeping because it seems that I have been pushing these feelings to the side, and that is NEVER good, 'cause that means they will hit me when I don't want them to- like when I want to SLEEP. :)

Everyone is entitled to have a bad day and to have a pity party. Don't be so hard on yourself. Just go with it! Your going through major life changes, emotionally and phyiscally. We're all here for you! Treat your self good. Prayers for you!

Today is not much better. H said to me last night, "You're being quiet...". I told him to just give me space and a couple of days to think about some stuff or I would say something I would regret.

In many ways I think I've been kidding myself about how I feel. My feelings for him are just not what they should be. I do love him and care about him. But the passion for him is gone. I don't even want to face what I'm feeling right now. It's killing me.

I know my hormones are playing a small part, I wish I could blame them completely. But I can't. It's not just the affair either. I'm so angry about so many things. I need to go see our counselor, but don't feel like I can let this out.
