A community for those who have been through the heartbreak of infidelity and decided to stay with their partner and try to re-build the relationship.
Hello everyone its been real quiet around here.
Just wanted to say that I hope everything is going well with everyone and that shopping to much is not getting the best of everyone.
This X-mas is a whole whole lot better than the last for me, hey I am still married that in its self is a big plus.
I am thankful for so much this year, been a horrible year but I am a lot futher along than I could be in getting passed all of the pains I have faced over this year. Not as far along as I thought I would be.
Starting the year out I thought oh its a new year I can just forget all about her affair and move on.
Well we all know that it is not that simple and I probably will never forget about it.
I am very positive and happy that I am where I am in this process and realize that it will take a lot longer than one year of good behavior and work to get passed this. It takes a lot of time to trust again after such a crisis.
I now have a whole lot better understanding of affairs and am looking forward to continue to try and help everyone I can deal with things that I can relate to, I wish I could not relate to this group but here I am working and growing and learning with everyone else.
I hope that everyone has a really wonderful Christmas Season and that God finds all of you and helps heal your wounds as only he can.
I hope that everyone remembers the real reason for Christmas and knows that Jesus is with us always even when we question that he is there and he is watching over us.

We have to actively work on being positive and actively try to send the negative thoughts away.
I hope I can help many people that are dealing with the same things I deal with.
It makes me feel good to try and be a positive influence.
Jason, great posotive post. I am so lucky to have my family together this Christmas. It may be the last time all of my children sleep under the same roof Christmas eve and wake up together.
My 18 is in the Marines and may be stationed during Christmas for the next 4 years. Then who knows where he will be. My oldest is 22 and eventually won't want to sleep over on Christmas. So I treasure these moments.
