My husband is in the military and was deployed all of 2009 where he met the OW, when he left that time things at home were good and he still got involved in EA. Well when it seems like things are getting better, no contact with OW, he is leaving again tomorrow for another year. Scared, don't know what to expect, he says things will be ok but just imagine.....things were good last time he left and he manage to bond with somebody else, this time things are on shaky ground so my fears and doubts are driving me crazy. I'm trying to act all calm and collected but inside I'm dying cause I really don't know what could happen. OW is also deploying, they don't work in same office anymore so their is no daily interaction but they would see each other on ocassion. My brain is in overdrive right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I can do is pray, wish and hope for the best.

play, I give you credit for having the strength to be a military wife. I don't know if I could handle that. Now, you have the added stress of worrying about whether he will cheat again. What I'm about to say to you I am not saying flippantly. If you feel you just cannot control your racing thoughts, you may want to talk to your doctor about taking an anxiolytic or antianxiety medication and/or an antidepressant, such as lexapro. I'm not saying medication would solve everything, but it may take the "edge" off your feelings of panic and anxiety. A year is a long time to feel this way. Just know you are not alone!

While not to trivialize what you feel please tell your husband that I thank him for his service. And you too. Military members need strong spouses. I know it can't possibly be an easy life.

Play...I can't offer you any advice but I can send you a hug and a prayer. Know that you have people here that will listen during the hard times. Stay strong and keep the faith, this can't be easy for you. Hugs.
