I'm sure there have been. There's nothing wrong with that. If you've givenit a genuine effort and feel it's the best option for you, then that's ok. I'm sorry that it's not working.

If you gave it your best shot. Nobody can fault you. You tried. Sometimes there are too many reminders.

I know there have been people who wish they had. I also know there have been others who left after another infidelity (or sadly, their own.)

As others have said: there is no crime in trying. Sometimes things just don't and can't work out. Better to call it quits and find your bliss elsewhere than to be miserable and/or unfaithful yourself.

4 years is a truly valiant chance at things. If things aren't any better after that time frame, it seems safe to say it's time to call it.

I am a big believer in the power of hope, but it isn't enough alone to keep things rolling.
