Hello my DS friends!!!! I have been aaway for a while, took a break from DS even though some of the stories are about courage and facing adversity some of them made me sad. I've been battling for my marriage for a while now - trying to rebuilt - giving everything but not getting nothing in return. 6 months ago my H left to go to Afghanistan and we were trying to work in our marriage but things have not been working out. I give and give and my H is a rock, showing no feelings or emotions, just a friend talking to another friend taking care of his chilren. Finally I realized that I can't keep doing this to myself, it is time to let go, is time to move on. For a long time I hang on to that thread of hope but that hope burnt into ashes. I told my H that if was time for me to let him go and he agreed that it was the best. He was staying for the kids but as much as I love my children the pain was to great, I deserve better and I deserve to someday rebuilt my life and be happy again. Seeing the divorce lawyer tomorrow, no longer wishful thinking but a reality. Thanks all of u guys for your support!!!!!

@ mommy - it's been a long time in the making - I went through pain, tears, even suicidal thoughts (which wasnt my proudest moment) - I have turned my pain and hurt into strenght - I remember hearing a lot of people saying that it gets better and I didnt believe it, I wonder how but I can now say that it does gets better. I live with hope for a long time but even hope can't get you through those sleepless nights. Stay strong you are not alone!!!!
