well, today (being after midnight now) is our 1 yr DDAY anniversary and it is also the closest weekend to our 30th anniversary, an anniversary that was very much in question a year ago. So we are going away for the weekend to spend some good time together and escape the current chaos of our home. (I didn't say it was a bad chaos, lol)

Cole is right now investigating some of the things we want to do this weekend. I am really looking forward to it. I think for both of us we are excited to reach this mark. On Sun our priest is going to do a part of the wedding service with us. Call it an equivalent to renewing vows.

It is not a very good weekend for us to be gone since there is a lot going on here at home and something I didn't want to miss out on and a lot of details to iron out but I am sooooo looking forward to having all this focused time together. Our anniversary last year was 4 days after DDAY and it was an important time of intense dealing with the beginning of this journey but this year, although I'm sure we will talk about it plenty, the focus will be much more fun and positive.
