Somewhere for people to have a good rant about anything they choose. Where people don't need to feel guilty about being angry and can just let in out.
you know what i'm sick of?! every time i open magazine i see ads that have written "se habla espaniol". every time i get a product, on the label is also written in fucking Mexican. and i say mexican because Spanish from Spain is a different breed from spanish in Mehico. i thought we were called The United States of America not united states of Mehico!!! English is supposed to be the national language here and not espaniol. i'm not even all white nor did i grow up in America AND i SPEAK ENGLISH!!!! actually i grew up multi-lingual. but while i was living in Indonesia, i bragged that i was part American, that i had some American blood running thru my veins. and even after high school, in 2000 i joined the US Marines. went to the Pentagon during 9/11 and cleaned up for a year.
but now... i'm ashamed. ashamed that we push our culture on the rest of the world, but yet when you come here, you have to speak Spanish?? Ashamed that a Prez with the name Barrak Husein Obama got voted in. were we that desperate to have a democrat leader that we sold our selves to Osama- I mean Obama?? and what's worse is that he went to a Muslim school in indonesia (where i grew up) but still, we turned a BLIND EYE to it!!!
and this is some of the reasons why i moved all the way the fuck out here to Hawaii. i'm sick of people on the mainland speaking in mehican. i'm sick of people asking me what i am cuz i don't look white or black. and i EVEn had people speak in mehicana to me!!! WTF!! most of all, at least they stick to their guns and even have a public school that is in Hawaiian, and you gotta learn it to stay in it.
more than anything... i'm ashamed that we send people to jail for the smallest crime, but turn a blind eye to those that entered ILLEGALLY. it's breaking the law!!! and even worse, we let our own people suffer with job losses while we all hire illegal aliens to do the work. it's no wonder out nation is "falling".
so is this what it is to be American? to have double standards?? to forsake our own during a recession while border jumping people get our jobs? to sell out our language for anothrs? to vote some one in that isn't American?

I even had a cashier at a grocery store here get pissy with me because her English was so bad I couldn't understand her. (Well at least she's trying I guess, but still). (SIGH) I just don't think it's right for me to be paying my taxes for illegals that bring so much crime and violence here and get a free pass because they found a loophole by having their kids on American soil.
I know I probably sound like a hateful bigot and a racist but I promise you I am not. Our next door neighbors on both sides are Hispanic, (I don't classify them as Mexican), and they are wonderful people and friends. I'm just talking about the ones that ruin it for everyone else that immigrate here, do all they can to learn the language and become citizens. America is the melting pot, and should remain so, but it needs to be done legally and responsibly.
