But for Mother's Day, I drove from Indy back to my home-town where I had a grill-out with my Mom, my brother, and his four kids. While we were at the picnic table eating, I got a call from a strange number. I picked it up and this really chipper lady screamed "HELLO" at me...kinda went like this:
SO: HEY!! ^.^
Me: Uh...hello? ^^;
SO: How ya doin'??? ^.^
Me: Um...what? ^^;
SO: What do you mean what?! >.<
*it wasn't until I heard her upset voice that I recognized it to be her lol*
Me: Taz? Is that you?! 0.0;;;
SO: Yes...of course! ^.^
Me: Oh my God...wow!!! HI!!!! How are you?! 0.0;
SO: You couldn't tell it was me T^T
Me: I just have not heard you so chipper before... ^^;
SO: You never have picked up the phone before >.>
It was all just too funny...and so I walked away to have some private time with her because she only had 5 minutes to speak. We both cried a bit, because I just...I just lost it when she told me that she loved me.
I swear it was the most beautiful sound in the world. God I love that woman...
BEST.DAY.EVER!!!!
And then when it comes to letters...
Aren't they the greatest thing in the world?
They are so great that I figured that I would dedicate a whole discussion thread just to sending and receiving letters from the SO
So tell me (if you want to). what is the sweetest thing(s) you have received ina letter thus far? Like cute things that were said, things that made you cry, things that made you laugh and etc.
---The sweetest thing I have gotten thus far is when Taz told me that the distance between us was making her love for me even stronger than it was before she left.
Then she drew me a picture (pics coming soon) and snuck it in there <3
Well, I have learned to never ignore calls, so I pick it up, and sure enough it's my Taz!!!
I am so glad that I got to hear from her because lately I have been so depressed and having so many doubts, and just hearing her voice, hearing her laugh, and telling me how much she missed me and loved me, all of that just seemed to disappear.
It really had me laughing because I told her about MSOS and about my wifey, and she took it way too seriously. She asked me if my wifey was single, and if she was straight, and etc. She doesn't get the concept of 'wifey' so part of my time was spent explaining all of this to her ^^;;;
The call was all-too short of course and neither one of us wanted to hang up. But when finally we said our goodbyes, I checked the call time and we had spoken for over 25-minutes
It was the best call yet considering her last one was only 5 minutes, and I missed the first one. But yeah, to me, it's a reason to celebrate. Now I just have to patiently wait out the next two weeks until her graduation and I can be with her again, and even though it's only two days, I wouldn't trade it for the world.
Okay...my silly moment is over.
