Can someone tell me their view on weather cocnditions (dampness, snow storms..that sort of thing) having a negative effect on breathing abilty.Does weather have a negative effect??

It seams like cold weather makes it hard for Me to breath,but the worst time for Me here in Oklahoma is the humid weather,it just does Me in,have to stay in with the AC.going.There has to be something better.I am still looking for that weather.

Thank you..we have had wet snow here during the weekend and that is about when I really started to have breathing problems. A little bit of exertion and POW!!!
I think I possibly should have some oxygen but the doctor a month or so ago said I didn't need it. Don't go bacak to see him until June but I think I may have to try and get an earlier appointment. Not much fun fighting for breath.

Oxygen may help You alot.I use oxygen during the day whenn needed to help breath easier,also at night when I sleep.I understand if Your oxygen drops 87 or lower,you should talk hard to Your doctor.Wishing You the best.Let Me know how Your doing.

My oxygen level, according to the nurse who was coming in, will drop a bit during exertion, but rebounds fairly quickly to 94 or better. When I wound up in hospital in Decemeber, apparently my oxygen level was in the 70s. I did NOT feel very well.

Cold weather bothers me a lot --always keep your mouth covered. Also, hot humid weather is bad. I'm on oxygen at night, and with exertion during the day. Makes you feel much better. Has your Dr ordered an oximetry test. Insist that you have one. Sometimes I think that the DRs. work for the insurance companies, an don't care about keeping the patient healthy and comfortable. I just got out of hospital and am...at least for now...tethered to an oxygen tank. Feel not too bad unless I am experiencing exertion. Have been put on another medication, along with predisone and hope to be feeling better soon.

Hi, Difficulty breathing in cold , damp, hot humid. I have the easiest time breathing in temps in the 50's to low 70's and low humidity.
