I have never had a raspy throat since I've been diagnosed. I have a dry cough each day with a mild amount of phlem. I sometimes get
a raspy throat prior to a head cold. Wishing you better health.

Maybe I'm coming down with a head cold...I had a lot of raspiness last year...........so much I do not know about this illness.....

try to avoid cold as much as is possible. If you do catch a cold please make sure to contact your doctor soon. with my experience every cold had brought decline with my dad.
it also brought many lung infections.

Yes, I oftern get a raspy throat, it seems for no reason at all that I can see. I will ask the specialist about it when I next see him - never thought about asking before. Although I am doing quite well on the prednisone and Plaquenil I've had several bouts of a "chest infection" recently. My doctor thinks that he will ask the specialist what to do about my medication. I hope that all of you have an improvement in health pretty soon, my best wishes.

Yes, raspiness does occur in my case. I seem
to have it more in the evening and especially after I talk a lot.

I seem to be raspy when I get up in themorming and it stays that way...not every day,....just some days.
