I am hoping the same. Ptsd is a hard thing to deal with for those who suffer from it. It is all so hard for those of us who are close to someone who suffers from it. It effects everyone involved.

Pstd does affect the person is suffering with it and it affects those around that person. The sufferer has to deal not living in the current time instead they live in the time during the event when it all happened to them. It's sincerely annoying because it's like no matter what you do for them, they are not impressed with it. It's also more painful that there is another person (close you like a sibling) who just would not let up. They only make the sufferer feel worse. I tried to have a good Christmas and happy new years but there were family issues then. Its not that it bothered me but my mom was affected by it mostly. She called it "her mommy feelings".
