this is someone's memories from Brookwood Camp in New York -- its been around a long time.
"My daughter Sabrina just spent her second summer at Brookwood.
She follows the footsteps of her stepdad and I and we love thinking of her there at the very same place, swimming in the same lake, sleeping in the same bunks, laughing and playing just like we did as children.
Sending my, then 10 year old, away for the first time last year wasn't difficult at all. The Brookwood experience is intimate, small camper body, staff and directors like family. Sabrina comes home with stories of her summer that last all year long.
She loves it just as we hoped, but secretly knew, she would. I entrust the Fiedlers with my one and only, and they return her to me more self assured, confident and capable than before. Thanks for our memories and for helping to create Sabrina's. Wishing you much success and happy camping always."
