Wow.

The first three nights of the convention I flipped over to Fox News - something I never do - at various points just to see what sort of coverage they were giving it, and every night they spent just 1 hour (CNN, MSNBC, and PBS all ran like 3 hours of coverage by comparison) mostly with their talking heads talking over what was happening during the virtual convention save for a speech here and there and often what they would be saying was basically the usual Fox News talking points aimed to distract from what the Dems legitimately stand for and say they want to do and all that... to see that after Biden's speech they all universally praised him is shocking. I didn't think anyone who works for Fox News was even allowed to say anything remotely nice about any Democrat. I'm sure Trump was fuming - hence all those rambling angry tweets on Thursday night.

Interesting point that guy made in the video too about how Trump foolishly set the bar so low for Biden it was easy for him to sail over it though even if he set the bar higher for him Biden still would've overcome it with that speech but that Trump would've been in a stronger position to counter then. I think it's pretty obvious to most people not drinking the Kool-Aid that when Trump speaks you can usually find the one word that doesn't belong in the sentence and then easily replace it with something else to make it accurate, namely when he calls someone else a liar or nasty or mentally unstable you can just take out that other person's name and insert Trump's own name because he always projects his own issues on others. He says others are corrupt because he is, he says others don't know things because he doesn't know, he says someone else is lacking in the skills to be president, it's because he lacks those skills. So everything he said about Biden before which Biden just proved to not be true, Trump will go on and show the world is true of him instead.

I laughed when I heard the other night that Trump plans to speak on every night of the convention because I thought the same thing that guy did about how much more inept it will show him to be... but I also assumed he's going to speak so many times because they can't get anyone else to speak on his behalf the way so many other people - Dems, Independents, and GOP members combined - spoke up for Biden. It's truly telling that the only people willing to speak up for him seem to be his kids, who are all supported by him. I mean, would they all show up for him if he weren't paying them to do so and speak "lovingly" about the father they barely have a relationship with (looking at you, Tiffany)?

Every now and then I go on the fox news website to see what they are reporting on and I have to say that the times I've looked they are being FAR LESS negative towards Democrats. I was stunned. At the same time though they are not posting anything bad about Trump and their headlines don't say anything about Volume 5 and how it actually said that crooked Donny Jr. was identified as a person to have criminal charges brought against him. I guess they forget how to read when it comes to that criminal family.

You are so right about him projecting his own crap onto others. Can't for the life of me understand why his cult following love him so much.

Right? It will be his doom to speak every night. And he will talk about light bulbs and water pressure. Oh, and Lock Her Up! I'm sure will be in there too. His cult will eat it all up.

Wish I could take credit for that joke but I read it, or a version of it, in one of the comments on a video. It’s the first lightbulb joke I ever laughed at too. Sad that it’s also the truth!
