I need some levity to keep my sanity as this election cycle winds down so I thought just for some fun to come up with songs that - at least by title if not actual subject matter - seem appropriate for an election-themed music playlist. Consider it music you could listen to while waiting in line to get into your polling place to keep you jazzed up about casting your ballot! Any songs you can think of that reference anything pertaining to elections, the specific candidates, hot button issues being discussed this election cycle or issues that are specifically on the ballot via referendums, basically anything that feels like it suits the subject that is the general election... feel fre to add anything you come up with just be sure to give the name of the song and artist (adding links is optional).
