Coping with pregnancy after stillbirth

Boy!! I was not expecting that! Ended up in the ER last night due to kidney stone but of course me being the huge worry wart I am, was concerned it would send me into preterm labor or something. So anyway insisted on an u/s to check on baby and I'll be 16 weeks this Wknd so didn't think they could tell but the tech did almost a full anatomy scan and then clearly said HE is really showing off right now! I was in shock. (when we first went into room my mom had told the tech about Kendall passing last year at 37 weeks and I was really anxious and if possible I would like to know the sex.) so anyway, bittersweet feelings. Kinda nice to think a boy will be so much different than Kendall so no trying to compare the two but also kind of sad I still won't get to do the girly things with my daughter like I so was ready for with Kendall. My twin sister is preg too and finds out next week what she's having... I've decided if it's a girl I will give her some of Kendall's stuff that I can maybe part with like the generic stuff but kinda sad to know all that girl stuff will still be just packed away in my parents attic.. If only Kendall was here and I could be bragging to her that she is going to have a baby brother.. Love my sweet girl so much! And of course love this little guy already so much too!

Congrats... It is great that you were able to see your little bean and ofcourse know the sex... I hope you feel better ... My angel baby was a boy and I have always wanted a boy... Now that we are actively TTC our rainbow I wish that I get a boy, though I will be happy to have either boy/girl in my arms...
