Coping with pregnancy after stillbirth

Well, I had my first NST of this pregnancy (FINALLY-- at almost 32 weeks, I might add) and an ultrasound with growth scan today. I never leave my OB appts more reassured than when I went in, even though "nothing" wrong is ever discovered. I, however, have some concerns.
First of all, I am 31 weeks, 4 days today. Per the ultrasound, my baby already weighs 5 lbs 10 oz. Even if you factor in for margin of error, the baby would be at a minimum of 4 lbs 13 oz and a maximum of 6 lbs 7 oz. So, essentially the baby is HUGE (90th-100th percentile). All measurements were 34+ weeks.
Second, I was spilling "trace" amounts of sugar in my urine, which my doctor told me was "normal" during pregnancy, but I really am not sure. I worry about having undiagnosed diabetes, especially since I have had it before.
Third-- I am certain that I saw heart rate decelerations on the NST. When I asked the doctor about it, he told me it was probably the baby just moving out of range of the monitor. He said he wouldn't even label them as decelerations at this point. He was willing to accept the monitor's tracing of 2 accelerations ( the reassuring parts), however. I guess I just wonder why it's ok to pick and choose which results on the tests he wants to believe and ignore the ones he doesnt??????
Ugh, I'm just so tired, huge, and literally exhausted from worry about this pregnancy. Can it just be over? Hope everyone else is doing well.

I completely understand what you are saying, I am 32 weeks and 4 days today and I have been having NST's and Bio Physical Profiles since about 30 weeks. I am also doing home monitoring at night, and my rainbow definitely "knocks" on his cord since they refuse to actually say they are cord compressions - but let's call a spade a spade, that is exactly what they are. Now the only way I have been able to talk myself out of a complete nervous breakdown is to tell tell myself that as long as he recovers quickly (less than 15 seconds) (which is the time frame my dr. has stated he would then considered the cord compressed) that he is doing ok, I am still panicked most of the time that he will get into trouble and they won't do anything about it...I just keep trying to take it day by day. But really I am exhausted and stressed beyond what a person should endure day in and day out. When will they deliver you? My dr. has said he would prefer 37 weeks but that he will do 36....you can guess I am opting for 36! That is of course if we survive these remaining weeks!

I am glad I am not the only one that thinks this way. I am 32 week 2 days right now, schedule for a c section on September 23rd at 37 weeks, I have had biophyscal profiles, NST, brain scans for the baby, ultrasounds and the works, but nothing ever reassures me that things are alright. I had a Ultrasound and NST a couple days before our Angel passed away and everything was "fine" on teh NST. I dont think those test are worth a shit. Sorry for the language. At my last one, the babies heartbeat came dropped to zero, since he was moving and the monitor didnt pick it up, would rise and fall and they claim that is him moving and that is good. Well during the NST I am supposed to do my kickcounts to show the movement, well they claim he was active and doing good the entire time, but I only got 15 movements over the entire test. Great do the test, but I dont use it for reassurance at all. I also have been tested every two weeks for diabetes. I have not had a reading even close to being high, but my baby is LARGE!!!! He has always been over the 94% and the length of his legs and arms go to the 99%, so that always throughs the final numbers off. They measured his head and abdominal features at the last test and those are measuring in the 85% so they are really not concerned with health or diabetes, but instead we just have a long baby! It is going to be a long next month and I just want to fall asleep and wake up a month later. I have been having cramps so bad i cnat sleep, the pain in my pelvis and hips is undescribable and I am huge. I never got this big with our angel and it is just uncomfortable. I am thankful for this pregnancy, but I am ready to have the reward at the end of the tunnel. I worry daily and always think about the worst case happening again. I dont want my husband to leave or be far away, cause you never know what might happen. I just think it is not fair that we have to go through a pregnancy and have the thoughts and concerns that we do, we should all be happy and worry free, but we all know what reality is now.
