Coping with pregnancy after stillbirth
I never thought I would get to join this group. But here I am!!
It's been a year a month and 20 days since I lost my first Angel Sophia at 38 weeks, now I just found out about an hour ago that I'm pregnant! I'm guessing I'm about 5 weeks, give or take a week or two. Already I see so many posts about new rainbow finally being brought into the world kicking and screaming and it's giving me hope. So far all I've heard is stories of miscarriages after stillbirth or a second stillbirth happening. So it's inspiring to see the positive side. I hope I'm here with you for the next nine months or so sharing the good side of this experience !

Congratulations!!!! I'm so happy and excited for you! Welcome to the emotional rollercoaster ride of your life. If you're looking for a good book, I've found great comfort in 'Pregnancy after a Loss" by Carol Cirulli Lanham. Not only is it educational for pregnancy, but its sensitive to the emotions we are going through. You might find typical pregnancy books that are aimed at women who are going through 'normal' pregnancies to be very difficult to read. It was for me at least. Wishing you all the best!

Congrats, and hope that the rollercoaster is made easier by knowing that we know how it is and are here with you!! It was this time last year that I found out I was pregnant with my rainbow, and so I guess you must be due June July time? I'm wishing you all the best, and hoping for a healthy little sister or brother for Sophia! hug

If your on Facebook request to be added to Rainbow babies sent from heaven. The women on there are truly amazing. i am 29w 4d and i couldnt have made it wih my sanity without them!!
