My name is Lindsay, and my daughter Neeva was stillborn at 38 weeks. It has been over 3 1/2 years and I miss her just as much today as I did the day we found out she had died. Since losing her, we had another daughter, Aria- a blessing I can't even begin to express the gratitude I feel for.
I'm on here today because I had the most supportive doctor one could ever hope for, and he allowed us to contribute to helping in create a book that tries to help the living children of a family dealing with stillbirth. When we found out our daughter had died, one of the first thoughts I had was "how will we tell the boys?!" (we have 2 sons, who at the time were 3 and 6). This little book may be only a small way to help, but it is free, and if you would find it helpful, please do not hesitate to email me and I will forward you the file. I found it helpful because I was so lost as to how to explain something to my kids that I could barely absorb myself. anyway, as I said, please email me if you have children and need a way to help explain the loss of your baby/babies. Know that you are not alone, and that my heart is with you all and your babies. xo Lindsay
