Coping with pregnancy after stillbirth
BabyWyatt
went to my level 2 ultrasound and the highrisk dr said everything was great. All parts are there fingers toes, all heart chambers, and everything else. Everthing is measuring as they should be as well. Good news there. We are also having another boy. Which scares me. Wyatt passed. and our little girl Payton (4) Is here. would it have been safer for us to have a girl? The ultrasound tech kept saying he sure does like to move around he is going to be a active child which again scares me so was Wyatt he moved constantly.
I did ask the dr about checking the umbilical cord and he said it was possible but very hard to detect if there are issues. He said If I wanted monthly Ultra sounds to check with my dr and they could arrange it. So that made me feel better.
Every dr I have talked to keep telling us that it is so rare to have a baby pass with a knot accident and we could get hit by a bus or lighting before it would happen again but that doesnt make me feel better. I will not breathe untill he is hear in my arms alive.
I do however feel like all of the prayers we have gotten are paying off.
Anyway thats my update. Its good news Im just a worrier. Hugs to all. Half way there.

YAY! I'm so happy for the great news. I'm with you about the movement. I talk to Hope all the time telling her that she is not allowed to play with the cord just her fingers and toes. Still I'm so scared, this pregnancy mimics Faith's so much. They seem to have the same times they move and how they move, it's so worrisome. I'm sure I just notice everything more and that my other babies were probably similar. I went for an ultrasound this week and the cord was around her arm. I made the US tech go over and over it. She said that it was behind her arm and the way it was positioned Hope would be able to push it away before it tightened. The cord haunts me. It is so bizarre that the very thing they need to live is the scariest for us. Well, sorry for rambling, but I'm so happy for you. Thankfully we all have each other to vent these concerns to. You're half way there! Hugs and God Bless,Cynthia
