I am 36 have been bound to an eating disorder for 29 years, I am bi-polar, although stable on medication, I am a self-inflicter, and if there are any who don't know what that is....I cut myself, I am agorophobic, xenophobic, and sometimes I just feel plain crazy. I assure you, I am not.
Am I not grabbing ahold of something, am I praying "wrong"? Are these my "thorns" or my crosses to bear?
Anyone with advice or answers, I would appreciate it

I'm sorry that you suffer these concerns, and I wish I had more time to address you now, but I simply dont... I'll come back after my days demands are met...
for now, consider this...
you state: "I AM xyz" "I AM lmnop" "I AM abc"
You are identifying yourself AS these things, defining yourself by them. Your words are binding agents!
You might put some thought into reframing these concerns. "I am attacked by agoraphobia" "I experience xenophobia" DON'T OWN THEM... IF you make them YOURS, you also make yourself THEIRS...
If you see them as spiritual afflictions, you can then put on the full armor of God to come against these things, as they are not part of who you are when you identify yourself as "I AM A CHILD OF GOD! I HAVE THE VICTORY in JESUS through faith"
remember, faith that waits for evidence isn't faith, its proof. Faith is believing something is yours that isn't yet in your sensory perception. We have to elevate the truth of Gods word above how we "feel"... satan is the god of this system of things, and this world programs us to think that our feelings define truth. They do not. You have the victory, and the bible makes it clear that the devil comes to steal the Word of God from our hearts and minds, and clouds us with deception and lies... how? By injecting doubt.
Liberty is yours through Christ. Walking in it when the evidence isn't evident is challenging, as we are so prone to think as the world thinks, and such things as I suggest, by the authority of Gods word, sound like pure insanity to the worlds ears. Think not as the world thinks.
God wants you to not only claim liberty as your own, He wants to bring the manifestation of it to your life, that you may Glorify HIM with the testimony. I'll have to come back to get into the application of what I am saying. Sorry to leave you hanging, but my daughters bus will come soon... start with changing the binding of your words, and meditate on the proverb (is it 18:21 or 21:18 I'm sorry I forget the ch/vers.) which states "The power of death and life are in the tongue."
You must speak life, and identify yourself as being who God says you are, despite the appearance which results in this system of things, resulting from the veil cast by the god of this world, satan.
