I have the flashbacks as well and seldom sleep through the night. My doctor has me on Trazadone for sleep and it has helped. I also put on some soft music or the TV on nickelodian or a nice movie in. I DO NOT nap during the day unless I am very sick that day. I pray until I fall asleep. I hope that this helps. Now let's pray...

I pray that you will give your sweet child rest. Lord heal the flashbacks and let her mind be clear. I pray for sweet dreams father. I pray for her victory over the flashbacks that only you can help Lord. We thank you now for the healing and the victory. In Jesus Name, AMEN

I too am troubled at times by flashbacks and panic attacks. I try to listen to soft music, make sure my bed is comfy, pray before trying to sleep, and just kind of let my mind float off towards God. There is a treatment method called eye movement desensitization and reprogramming that is effective for PTSD. It is a fairly structured form of relaxation technique that is safe and effective. You would have to see a professional for it.
