Dear Mary, my prayers are with you. I've been worried before every surgery and I've had eight major ones. It always helps me to repeat over and over to myself a special bible verse that I find comforting. Do you have one? The 23rd Psalms is great or how about Isaih 43:2, Matthew 8:13, Pilippians 4:6-8, Proverbs 3:5. There are so many wonderful bible verses but these are a few that come to mind. I pray that God will grant you the peace that passes understanding, and be with you doctor and in his mind & hands as he pulls your teeth.

You don't have to be afraid because the lord is with you and he will not let anything happen to you. I know it is scarry to have to go under but I know the peace of the lord will be with you.

I just read this bible verse and thought I would share it with you Mary.

So then, banish anxiety from your heart and cast off the troubles of your body.

Ecclesiastes 11:10

Blessed: Trust both in the Lord and in the capable hands of your oral surgeon. God has blessed him with the ability to do oral surgery and the ability to take care of many people. I pray that the Lord send an angel to be by your side right now and while you are having your teeth pulled -- and especially during your time of great anxiety. You will be just fine. I feel it in my heart.
