Hi everyone. Saw the Rheumatologist yesterday and he is happy to see me again in September. Four months without going to the hospital for me is amazing. I asked if I could drop down the lab visits too and his answer was very interesting. I am now on seven mgs Pred dropping by one mgs monthly until off. He tells me the lab visits are even more important as I lower the dose because the blood tests can tell him if I am heading for a flare although I may be feeling fine. I am still learning something about this disease all the time. Hope all those tapering are doing well and all who may be having a Flare will be back on track soon. Autumm
