I don't know if this is going to work, but I am willing to give it a try. I have finally hit a brick wall. I don't have the money to pay my copay for my pain specialist or to even get to his office or pay the copay for my pain meds, so I have decided now is the best time to go cold turkey as we use to say for drug addicts and stop taking my pain meds.

I know that it is going to be hard and that the pain will probably be unbearable, but I am willing to give it a try. I have been on Opana ER 30 mg for almost 2 years and I feel as if I am addicted to it and it doesn't actually stop the pain, but makes it bearable. I am taking 30 mgs every 12 hours plus a breathru 10 mgs every 12 hours PRN.

I am aslking for your prayers and I will keep you all aware of how it is going as best I can. I can do this. I have Lyrica and Gabepentin to help me thru this. I know that I have to be careful with those two, especially the Lyrica as it affects my liver. Always something. We are here for each other and we can do this.
